Payment Policy for Oliva Beauty

This Payment Policy explains how Oliva Beauty (“Oliva Beauty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles prices, taxes, accepted payment methods, billing timing, security, promotions, and payment-related disputes for purchases made online or in person. By placing an order, you agree to this Policy along with our Terms of Service and Return & Refund Policy.

1) Pricing & Currency

  • Currency: All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD, $) unless we clearly state otherwise.

  • Price updates: Prices may change at any time. You will be charged the price shown at checkout when you place the order.

  • Obvious errors: If a product or shipping rate is displayed with a manifest error (e.g., a clear typographical mistake), we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

2) Sales Tax & Duties

  • US sales tax: Calculated at checkout based on your shipping or service location and applicable laws (including state and local taxes; e.g., Wisconsin).

  • Tax-exempt purchases (B2B/organizations): Provide a valid exemption certificate before purchase so we can apply it to eligible orders.

  • International orders: Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees (if any) are the customer’s responsibility unless we state Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) at checkout.

3) Accepted Payment Methods

Subject to availability and your location, we accept:

  • Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.

  • Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay (where available).

  • PayPal (if shown at checkout).

  • Bank transfer (ACH/wire): Available for eligible orders and business customers; instructions provided on request or invoice.

  • Gift cards / store credit: Issued by us and redeemable only with Oliva Beauty.

  • In-store: Cash and card (where applicable).

Notes: availability of specific methods may vary by device, region, order value, or fraud-risk screening. We do not accept personal checks.

4) When You’re Charged

  • Card & wallet payments: Charged when your order is confirmed. We may place a pre-authorization to verify funds; it is released if your order is not completed.

  • Bank transfers: Orders are processed after we receive cleared funds by the due date noted on your invoice.

  • Pre-orders/backorders: We may charge at order time or at dispatch; details appear on the product page or checkout.

5) Invoices & Payment Terms (Business Customers)

  • Standard terms: Unless agreed otherwise in writing, invoices are due upon receipt.

  • Extended terms: If we grant credit (e.g., Net 7/14/30), the due date appears on your invoice.

  • Late payments: We may assess late fees/interest as allowed by applicable law and pass on reasonable collection costs.

6) Security, Compliance & Fraud Prevention

  • Payments are processed via PCI DSS-compliant providers; we do not store full card numbers.

  • We use automated and manual checks to reduce fraud. We may request additional verification, limit order values, or cancel orders suspected of unauthorized or high-risk activity.

7) Subscriptions & Recurring Billing (if offered)

  • Starting a subscription authorizes recurring charges to your selected payment method at the stated interval.

  • You can update payment details or cancel future renewals before the next billing date in your account or by contacting us.

  • If a renewal fails, we’ll retry and may pause service or shipments until payment succeeds.

8) Cancellations, Refunds & Chargebacks

  • Order changes/cancellations: Contact us promptly. Eligibility depends on order status (e.g., not yet dispatched) and product type.

  • Refund method: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; processing times depend on your bank or provider.

  • Chargebacks: Please reach out first so we can help. Unfounded or abusive chargebacks may lead to suspension of purchasing privileges and recovery of associated fees.

9) Promotions, Coupons & Price Adjustments

  • Enter promo codes at checkout; we can’t apply them retroactively.

  • Unless stated, promotions can’t be combined and may be limited by product, region, or time.

  • We do not offer price protection if an item goes on sale after purchase, unless required by law or explicitly stated.

10) Gift Cards & Store Credit

  • Redeemable only with Oliva Beauty; not reloadable and not redeemable for cash (except where required by law).

  • Treat gift cards like cash—lost or stolen cards/credits are not replaceable without proof of purchase and are subject to our discretion.

11) Currency Conversion & International Payments

  • If your card is issued in a currency other than USD, your bank may apply conversion rates and fees we don’t control.

  • Where we display converted amounts, these are estimates; your issuer’s final rate prevails.

12) Title & Risk of Loss

  • Title to goods passes to you when we receive full payment.

  • Risk of loss/damage transfers on delivery per our Shipping Policy.

13) Failed, Reversed, or Disputed Payments

  • We may cancel or delay fulfillment if a payment fails, is reversed, or is flagged by our systems.

  • If a payment is reversed after dispatch and the dispute is resolved in our favor, you remain liable for the outstanding balance.
